Lecturer and researcher within the communication department for development at Escola Superior de Jornalismo and I work as a lecturer at Instituto Superior Dom Bosco, in Maputo. I hold a master degree in Journalism and Media Studies from Rhodes University. I am interested in media and communication for development, but I also interested in reception studies.
The Highway Africa Conference is a project of Rhodes University (Grahamstown, South Africa). The 22-year old event is supported by a variety of partners including Government, corporate South Africa and development agencies. The key focus is the impact of digital technologies (internet and mobile) on journalism and the media and, by extension, society.
